Why does the Greenstar I have so many error codes?


The Greenstar I by Worcester Bosch is a "Smart Boiler". This boiler has more sensors and electronic inputs which lets it provide us with a more accurate description of what is going on. Unlike have 1 error code which may cover many issues, the Greenstar I has an error code for everything. This helps us diagnose problems fatser and saves you money!




Error Code: 226


Cause: Service tool has been connected in the blocking error history menu. Difficulty: 1 2 3 4 5 Engineer: Required Solutions To Try: Service menu option.




Error Code: FD 231


Cause: The power has been interrupted during a lockout. Difficulty: 1 2 3 4 5 Engineer: Required Solutions To Try: Site visit required.




Error Code: C7 214


Cause: Fan does not run during the start up phase. Difficulty: 1 2 3 4 5 Engineer: Required Solutions To Try: Fan harness connector needs checking and leads need checking.




Error Code: C6 215


Cause: Fan speed too high. Difficulty: 1 2 3 4 5 Engineer: Required Solutions To Try: Test fan, harness and leads.
